CANADA, unspecified area, copper (1/2 penny) token, no date (1800s), standing "Irishman" on obverse, ex-Baker. Breton-1009; Courteau-4; AM-4. 7.56 grams. A type that originally circulated in Ireland (hence the name for the standing figure) but then ended up in Lower Canada. XF with glossy dark brown surfaces, some hairlines. Pedigreed to the Warren Baker Collection of Canadian coins and tokens.
